NCC have had the pleasure of assisting in two duck races this summer;one at the Rowbarge and the other one at the Oracle Reading. Thanks to all who helped.
On both occasions we had our youngsters out with mum’s and dad’s collecting the little yellow blighters post-race. Blighters, as given their plastic impassivity they take a delight in finding nettle infested corners to hide in. We don’t think any ducks got away. Big smiles were had and money was raised for charities including our club coffers. Double win.
